Mobberly Baptist Church exist to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ and is fully grounded in scripture with relevant, practical application for Christian living in our modern-day world. This firm foundation strengthens us spiritually and allows us to grow deeper in our faith, in our love, in our relationships, and in our ministries at Mobberly.
MISSION
Mobberly Baptist Church exists to Lead ALL PEOPLE into a life-changing, ever-growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
The words in this short statement carry special importance.
Lead • means to influence. It is a word describing initiative, intentionality.
All People • everyone, everywhere regardless of age, race, social standing or location.
Life-changing • salvation, new creation (2 Cor. 5:17). The horizontal leaf represents change in all life’s relationships and activities on earth.
Ever-growing • consistent growth-spiritual development. The vertical leaf represents ongoing growth in our connection to Jesus.
Together they form the cross which reminds us of the gospel and what Jesus did for us that we can come to have a relationship with God. Christianity is best described by a relationship not a religion.
